Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the global lighting leader, will assist clients in managing their energy expenditures with a new line of Ultra Efficient lights and, for the first time, Ultra Efficient integrated luminaires. The expanded, more broad product line provides clients with even more options for incorporating the most efficient energy-saving LED lighting into their homes.
The new lights and luminaires join the Ultra Efficient A-class Philips LED bulb, which was the first light bulb in Europe in 2021 to satisfy the new A-class criteria. In an era when people are more concerned of energy expenditures, these lights use at least 50% less energy and last 50,000 hours, which is significantly longer than ordinary Philips LED lights. All Ultra Efficient items are designed to earn an A-class certification under the new, demanding European energy labeling system, which will be implemented in 2021.

Using Ultra Efficient lighting and luminaires to save energy
Lighting accounts for a considerable portion of domestic energy usage, and customers may expect an increase in energy expenditures as winter approaches. Changing traditional lights or LEDs to ultra-efficient LED alternatives can have a significant influence on lowering energy use.
